Okay, so I'm watching Glee's episode 4 and have it paused just after Kurt's dad walks in on him doing the Single Ladies dance.

I need to know now so I can skip this episode if I need to.

Please tell me that I am not about to watch a show about a father completely destroying his son's confidence, self-worth, and soul for being gay/doing things he thinks are not "manly" enough. Please? I really don't think I could watch that right now.

(fwiw I have seen scenes from season 2 that show kurt's dad as supportive and rather awesome, I just don't know if he's always been supportive and awesome, or if it's been a slower transitional process of acceptance)

Burt Hummel is one of the few decent characters on Glee, trufax. It's an emotional episode towards the end, and throughout the series, you have Burt being awesome and supportive of Kurt.
