Fast forward count: 3
I still love Sue Sylvester's evilness. And her facial expressions. Will's annoying wife Terri still makes me grit my teeth in agony. Will, in fact, often makes me grit my teeth in agony. The Rachel and Finn storyline does less than nothing for me so far. It was nice to see Coach Ken make a wooing effort to Emma that is, perhaps, more suited to her interests than the previous week's... what? Was it monster trucks? Tulipalooza sounds marginally more interesting to me too. I am still annoyed by Will's obliviousness towards the jocks/Kurt/dumpster scene. I mean, was he so popular/sheltered that he really doesn't get what's going on there?
While I agree that disco is perhaps not the best way to entrance the school and increase Glee participation, the Push It song and accompanying choreography? It wasn't agonizing enough to require a fast-forward, so I'll give it that. And it was hilarious. I did like Principal Figgins' foot-tapping though.
Also? This:
Terri is at her doctor's office getting an ultrasound and requesting every test imagineable to assure her that her baby will not be adversely affected by her "living in squalor."
Doctor: There's no baby.
Terri: Did it fall out?
Oh. My. God.
Also? Poor bedside manner and insensitivity, dude.
I hate to say it, but the cheerleaders are pretty good. I mean, kinda creepy, but good nonetheless. I'm guessing they're in. Also, Quinn? Sue's "complimentary" comments comparing you two? Should send you screaming. Come on, girl. Also, is that Brittany there with Quinn and Santana? The others haven't actually been named yet and if it is B, she looks different.
Oh, Terri :( I actually think she was going to tell him the truth about the baby (or the lack thereof) and got derailed by Will's family speech and swept up in not disappointing him or looking bad herself, and probably a true wish to be the family that Will wants. Of course now she's going to get swept up in the lie and since this is Glee I'm sure she'll go to soap opera levels of ridiculousness to resolve.
What am I getting myself into?
I wonder how long Principal Figgins' "approved songs" list is going to last.
Oh god, this whole show is about Rachel's pining, isn't it? When am I going to like her? I mean, we're supposed to, right? Eventually?

Actually, I sort of do like her, mostly because so many other people don't. And she has her moments. One or two. :P
Also, it's been a while since I saw the first season, but yeah, that would almost certainly have been Brittany with Quinn and Santana.
