December Days of Happy #11

Day eleven's happy was my plants. I do not have a very successful history of keeping plants alive and uneaten by pets for long. These two are somehow defying the odds! The fact they requiring little in terms of care and that now that I have my own home there are no pets around to eat them probably helps.

Someone told me once that plants deserve names too. To that end, I present to you:

Figaro (Jade plant) and Charlotte (Aloe plant)

They are indeed! I *heart* them :) I think in the spring I shall research other hearty plants to see what I have a chance at keeping alive.
