Have you ever been just going along, happily typing away with good momentum and a seemingly clear idea of where you want to go with a story, and then just... hit a wall? Like, out of nowhere, smack into it? Repeatedly and painfully?

Argh!

YES. OMG, all the time, LOL. My biggest problem is when I get near the last scene of a story (if it's a long story -- really short stories are less problematic). I think it's about me not wanting them to be over, or something, on a subconscious level. It's so WEIRD. I haven't figured out a way to avoid it, either.

Oh god, that will so totally be me if I, you know, ever write an actually long story. I'm bad enough when I get like this with the tiny fics I write now!

If you ever figure out that way to avoid it, I'm all ears. Or, you now, eyes, as the case may be.
