Jan. 9th, 2006 06:42 amWell, I'm finally over the hump on my
themed100 project at 54/100 icons finished. Of course I have less than a month left in my challenge block, so I have some work ahead of me :-p My theme is "seasons", which I have chosen to interpret liberally... including baseball, strawberry, olympics, wedding, Christmas, and mating as specific seasons in addition to the traditional Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. Go ahead and check them out.
Getting nowhere in my
wizard_love fic.
Received my mp3 challenge inspiration song and am mulling it over. It is "Distractions" by Zero 7.
Finally went to see Brokeback Mountain last night. Wow. I knew that I was in for sadness, but I didn't expect it to be such a painful sadness. There were also moments of "whoa" and really amusing scenes as well.
( slightly spoilerish )
It was a really, really wonderful film, and that means something to me, given that I tend towards the comedy/sci-fi/fantasy type of movie.
Time for bed for me, I think. I want to try to wake up by 4 so I can actually do things while it's still daylight. That'd be a pleasant switch.
