Thoughts upon episode 1 rewatch:
Sherlock, you are such an arrogant shit. Also, when the woman in the morgue was hitting on you the look of "eek" on your face was somewhat adorable.
Watson: "You stopped her husband being executed?"
Sherlock: "Oh no, I ensured it."
Hah! Oh the banter.
I am noticing the music more this time through and enjoying it.
So, the landlady is only the first, but I remember really enjoying how many people assume Sherlock and Watson are a couple right off the bat. I mean, the banter alone...
Sherlock: "You're a doctor. In fact, you're an army doctor."
Watson: "Yes."
Sherlock: "Any good?"
Watson: "Very good."
I love how Watson says "very good."
Sherlock has an unexpectedly deep voice. It's a very nice voice.
"The state of her knees," Sherlock? You little shit.
Hah, Sherlock is loving Watson's praise.
Awww, poor Watson, Sherlock abandoned you :( You and the music are so sad. "I'm- I'm nobody."
So wannabe-creepy telephone guy had me going for most of this episode. I was convinced that it must be Moriarty. Mycroft didn't even occur to me. It has been a long, long time since I read any SH stories, and I am very rusty.
What is the point of "Althea"?
Mycroft is the second person to mention Holmes/Watson. Though done sarcastically, but I'm still going to count it.
Oh, Watson. Your adorably awkward attempt at flirting was, indeed, awkward.
I love how surprised Sherlock was by the idea that Watson had met a friend of his, but was relatively blase about the idea of an enemy. And mildly curious about which of the, apparently numerous, enemies it was.
Sherlock: "Pity, we could have split the fee. Think it through next time." *snort*
Watson: "So I'm basically filling in for your skull?"
Sherlock: "Relax, you're doing fine."
Hee :)
Sherlock, your ruminations on the killer being brilliant and needing an audience... notice anything? Perhaps a little self-reflection might be in order?
Sherlock's "Who do we trust" speech was when I figured out the cab/taxi clue. I mean, they didn't make it hard, considering, but still. I was proud.
Hah! Candle for the table. Holmes/Watson reference #3. Damn, they are jumping ahead FOR the fandom. Too easy. And the whole ensuing conversation... painful. And Sherlock's face!
The music during the taxi chase bit reminds me of something, but I cannot remember what.
I get the feeling that there'll be lots of running in this series. y/y?
Sherlock, once again, you, in all your point-proving glory, are such a cocky shit.
"His name, no one says." Really now? Moriarty = Voldemort?
Sherlock, why are you falling for the taunts and goading?
Sherlock's hand trembling while holding the pill - purposeful, right?
Oooh, Sherlock, showing a lack of confidence in your abilities? Interesting. Also, I didn't notice Sherlock silently repeating Moriarty's name the first time I watched the ep. Also interesting. He looks very young in that shot, too.
"What now? I- I'm in shock. Look, I've got a blanket." Heh. Nice.
How tall is Sherlock, anyways?
Aww, look at that little look they gave each other at the end there. I can definitely see them launching a thousand ships...
