Drabble-y things: Sherlock, Star Trek XI, Glee

You guys are wonderful and sussed out each of my pairings in the pairing meme! For those that guessed pairings and gave me prompts, I have been studiously working on writing drabbles. Damn, I missed writing. Clearly I need to ignore the towering mound of schoolwork in favor of screwing around more often, right? Right.

Without further ado, I give you:

For [livejournal.com profile] shagungu
Prompt: Sherlock/John, and the skull

The Voyeur; Sherlock, Sherlock/John, R )

***

For [livejournal.com profile] lauriegilbert
Prompt: Kirk/McCoy, telephone (See link for a description of the children's game "telephone" if you are unfamiliar with it)

Less Funny In Space; STXI, Kirk/McCoy, PG )

***

For [livejournal.com profile] amor_remanet
Prompt: Kurt and Santana, either a tag to the latest episode [3x06] (for the angst or hurt/comfort), or something sweet and friendship-flavored

I'm Glad We Had This Talk; Glee, Kurt & Santana (implied Kurt/Blaine and Santana/Brittany), PG-13 )

***

Yes, I am aware that it's been a while. Thoughts are appreciated :)

Sherlock Fic: Chocolate Digestives and Sibling Rivalry; Mycroft/John, NC-17

Title: Chocolate Digestives and Sibling Rivalry
Fandom: Sherlock
Pairing: Mycroft/John
Rating: NC-17
Length: ~900
Warnings: Sexual situations
Disclaimer: I do not own Sherlock nor profit from this fanwork
Summary: Sherlock and Mycroft argue. Not surprising. Mycroft's method of dealing with Sherlock's taunts, however, is.
A/N: Written for the following [livejournal.com profile] sherlockbbc_fic prompt: Mycroft distracts himself from hunger with sex. I did stray from the prompt a bit, though. Unbetaed/britpicked.

Sherlock Fic: Pen to Paper; Sherlock/John, PG-13

Title: Pen to Paper
Fandom: Sherlock (BBC)
Pairing: Sherlock/John
Rating: PG-13
Length: ~2200
Warnings: Language, sexual references
Disclaimer: I neither own Sherlock, nor profit from this fanwork.
Summary: Sometimes Sherlock needs help in certain areas... like that of the entirety of social interaction. Fortunately, he has friends, family, and insane archenemies willing to offer their assistance.
A/N: This is a spruced up version of a kink meme fill for the prompt: 5 times someone wrote a letter of apology on Sherlock's behalf +1 time he wrote one on behalf of someone. Many thanks to my supportive and entertaining beta and britpicker [livejournal.com profile] dltoro.

Moar Sherlock

I love Mycroft Holmes and his twirly umbrella and his smartass-ness, and his twisted fraternal concern. So much.

Sherlock Rec!

I've been somewhat battling with my thoughts on Sherlock/John bromance vs romance (or smut, even). I've read sadly little Sherlock fic so far (and would LOVE some recs, if you please) and most of what I've read and enjoyed has been friendship and preslash, more than smutty or established relationship stuff. Not sure if that is how I prefer the pairing, or it's more a matter of the stories I've stumbled across.

That aside, when I was recced this fic, I was greatly amused by it and completely fell into the relationship as presented.

Diplomatic Relations by Coragyps (link goes to fanfiction.net) is a Sherlock/John fic, rated adult, and the listed genres are friendship/romance, though I would add humor as well. The character voices are excellent and the fic is greatly amusing me tonight.
Summary: John explores the narrow boundaries of Sherlock's sexuality.

Excerpt: Sherlock frowns. "No talking." He knows this annoys John, who likes to say that good communication is the key to good sex (Sherlock can't imagine what dime-store sex psychology John has been reading; obviously corresponding genitalia is the key to good sex).

Good Day

I faffed arounda bit this morning, had lunch with my mom, and then H came over again. We made a DELICIOUS dinner (pictures may be posted later, it was that good) and are now watching movies. First up was Moon Child a Japanese vampire dystopian movie (which totally does not even begin to describe this movie) and are now watching the original Sherlock pilot.

Dinner was my tomato-chickpea-spinach soup soup with naan, which went mostly uneaten because H made the most amazing sort-of bruschetta with onions, garlic, shitake mushrooms, and white wine on french bread with parsley, scallions, and parmesan cheese. *swoon* I want to marry her, seriously.

I also made peanut butter surprise cookies that, while tasting good, looked like crap, sadly. And tea. The tea was great :)

Moon Child was very... wtf. But engaging. And I am going to be heading to google after I finish this post to find the picture of the group at the beach because that was adorable. And I like the HYDE/Gackt duet at the end a whole lot.

Sherlock pilot - so weird seeing Sherlock a bit more self-aware and purposefully humorous. I don't dislike it, but I do like the official pilot. I tend to prefer whatever I'm first exposed to, though.

Sherlock

Regarding Episode Two (which I am currently watching with the lovely H) where Sherlock tells DI Dimmock to take his word as gospel:

Me: The gospel according to St. Sherlock. I'd go to church for that.
H: And at the end, instead of saying 'Amen,' everyone would say "Obviously."
Me: O_O
Both of us: *burst out laughing*
