OMG. So funny. Though I'm not a parent, I find that I talk like the examples of scientist-parent speak. It's always + or - 10 minutes with me.

Awesome :) I have the same tendency, but I use much less awesome vocabulary. Mine is "I'll be there in 10-ish minutes" accompanied by the side-to-side hand wave that apparently confers that I am unreliable. *shrug* Eh, it works ;)
