syredronning selected icons for me.

I like to laugh. I love sarcasm and banter and snark. This is quite obvious to anyone given access to my file of text icons, I must admit. This one specifically was uploaded, rather recently, after a very long day at work spent dealing with difficult people and coming home to my lovely internet and realizing that I hadn't added extra icons to my account when I'd upgraded my journal. This icons was an example of my mood when I started the icon process. (My mood quite a bit cheerier upon finishing, however!)

Sherlock is my newest fandom love, I love music, and I've long wanted to learn to play the violin or cello, so this icons was rather a given for me, I suppose. Sullen, thinky Sherlock holding the bow like a weapon and the violin like a shield? Oh yes, please. It's also a much loved pairing for me, Sherlock/Violin.

Motto for life, really ;) I love Dory, and I love Ellen (the voice of Dory in Finding Nemo) and listening to her parts in this movie make me so happy. The icons is one to use when you are just trying to push through whatever you're wading in, yes, but the meaning, for me, is hopeful. Keep swimming, you'll get there.

Yeah. This is a good icon for when I get reeeeally wrapped up in something and do not control my squee. Or when I fixate on something new and shiny. Like fandom. I do tend to go whole-hog for quite a long time when I find something new to adore, so it's pretty apt, too.

This is, far too often for my peace of mind and life-expectancy, true. I have been known to say "just one more page" or "just one more fic/vid/prompt" and then look at the clock and find that its midnight and I need to be awake at the asscrack of dawn in the morning. I get caught up. And then there are *ahem* those-I-shall-not-name who post awesome fic as I am trying to go to bed thereby making it impossible for me to get a complete night's rest *petulant foot stamp*
