Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1

I finally went to see Harry Potter 7a yesterday. I enjoyed it, though I really should have avoided bringing liquids in with me as it necessitated a mid-movie bathroom break and I apparently missed a decent dirty joke because of it. Ah well.

My first reaction: Davy Jones is the Minister of Magic!!! Yeah, I'm lame like that.

So, now that I've finally seen it, can anyone link me to their (or others') reaction posts, now that I'll understand what everyone is talking about?

I saw it with my Dad, and started poking him in the shoulder as soon as Scrimgeour appeared on screen. I was all, "Davy Jones! Watch out for pirates..." and Dad was all, "Why did I ever agree to come see this with you?" (I may have also pointed out all the places that were different between the movie and the book, so he might have been right in his exasperation...)

Hehehehe :) I listened to the Made of Fail podcast the talked about the movie even before I saw it, so I was somewhat prepared for the changes, but I still gave the screen the stinkeye now and then.

Oh! Have you heard the ones where they rag on Twilight? I played a few choice snippets for my sister (who persists in thinking S. Meyers' version of vamps is as valid an interpretation as Buffy - we have our differences), and recieved no few slaps to the arm in return. It was worth it...... ;-)

I adore the Twilight ones. I listen to Episode 32 on avergae of once a week just to hear cleolinda play Horrify the Twilight Noob on poor Kacie. Cracks me up every single time.
