Okay, I've realized I've had the time stamps wrong on my computer and therefore my journal for a few days now, so I'm going to try this again. Apologies to anyone who sees this for a second time...



I am going on a much-needed vacation at the end of the week and am looking for some help from my newly expanded friendslist.

What would you recommend for reading material while I'm enjoying my vacation? I'm interested in both gen and smut pieces, so as to have a variety at my fingertips depending on my mood ;)

Fandoms I have some knowledge of: HP, House, Doctor Who (Nine & Ten), Pirates of the Caribbean, Firefly/Serenity, Buffy/Angel, Star Wars, Ocean's Eleven

The only restriction for the moment being no intensely "dark" fic, otherwise any genre, pairing/gen, rating, etc... Rec away, whether it be your own or another author's work. (And yes, I do know what a comment box is, and how to use it for the appropriate fawning and squee as necessary ;) )



Also, in case a creative bug bites... Any suggestions/requests for ficlets/drabbles? In this I'm probably going to have to restrict myself to the HP and Firefly/Serenity fandoms, and I rarely write above an R rating. Give a couple options for characters and/or pairings, maybe a prompt or inspiration... whatever floats your boat.

Hmm...well, if I may pimp myself...especially if you don't care about pairing, I wrote and insanely long Snape/Tonks fic called Obsession. It's not smut, and it's not quite a romance, but it's definitely not gen. It's 125,000 and imo, the best thing I've written. Feel free to take a look! And since you're a Remus fan, I've got a bunch of Remus fics that I've written. You can head over to my fic journal (kerrymdb_fics and search by character.

And I love giving prompts! Remus for the character and 'oblivious' for the prompt. Do what you will. :)
