So while in Canadaland last month I picked up a couple of icewine samples at the duty-free on my way home. One is the Peller Estates Cabernet Franc icewine.

The blurb on the box containing the sample? This wine is a rare gift from a magical Canadian winter.

Magical Canadian winter? Riiiiiight. I was totally all ready to laugh uproariously at this wine and it's ego, but then I took a sip. Damn. I like it. Very, very sweet, which means I can't have much of it, but it's only a 50ml sample, so the amount is perfect. NOMS!

Ice wine is so ridiculously delicious. I had only received it as gifts from people but I just found a liquor store near me that actually carries it, and I am thrilled!!

Is it a red icewine? If so then the statement is actually true since we really don't get to make it very often due to improper winter climates.

It's... reddish/pinkish. I think it's be considered a red rather than a rose, but I don't know what rose means anyways, so...
